Listening is one of the hardest thing to do. Sometimes you can find yourself talking with someone; while he/she has something to tell, you also have something to tell. What you do is you let him/her talk for a while about what he/she wants to tell then you tell what you want to tell. You just talk, but in reality you don’t really listen to what the person you’re talking to is trying to tell. It takes a lot of effort to connect with people and set aside for a while your personal agenda.
